Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine

Dr. Karin Baker graduated from the University of Georgia in 1998, with high honors from the Honors Program. Influenced by a family member with paraplegia, Dr. Baker decided to devote her career to the medical care of people with disabilities. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2002 with an M.D. and completed a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2006. After residency, Dr. Baker completed a two year fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, graduating in 2008. Dr. Baker is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Dr. Baker moved to the Columbus, Georgia area with her husband, an orthopaedic surgeon and Columbus native. She practices part-time to stay home with her son.
